Bean and Bailey

Bean and Bailey have been performing their acoustic comedy full-time since 2001.  Bradley Bean and Jackson Bailey met while students at Carson-Newman College in east Tennessee, and it was there that they began writing comedy and music together.  After college, Bradley Bean taught 3rd grade public school for 4 years while Jackson Bailey worked for a local television station as a kids club host.  In 2001 they left their “day jobs” and made the shift to become a full-time professional comedy act.

Bean and Bailey perform their clean comedy act at corporate events, church events, colleges, comedy clubs, conferences, and cruise ships.  They have entertained audiences across the United States and Canada.  Most audiences tend to appreciate the banter between the songs as much as the songs themselves.  Some frequently requested favorites through the years have been “The Wal-Mart Greeter Song” (a romance ballad of course), a sketch about Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson competing for stage time (aptly named “The King Meets The King”), and a high energy anthem that sings the praises of Krispy Kreme donuts (brilliantly titled “Krispy Kreme.”)  Recent favorites include a rockin’ tribute to Bailey’s childhood friend (“Mr. Potato Head”) as well as several hilarious songs from their new country album.   Most defining of the act is that the songs and dialogue always place the steady, rational personality of Bean up against the spontaneous, endearing-but-ignorant personality of Bailey.  Bean and Bailey’s comedy consistently appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
